Idaho State Law technically allows Liquor Sales until 2:00am, Under present law, cities and counties may set more restrictive hours for alcoholic beverages than state law allows. Our local jurisdiction, Twin falls county elected to set an earlier time, currently Twin Falls County has a closing hour of  1:00 a.m. despite the fact that the state allows sale up until 2:00am, and that many surrounding counties are also 2:00 a.m. 

We are asking Twin Falls County to consider moving the Liquor Sale closing hour to 2:00 a.m. to align with State of Idaho Title 23 regulations. 

We know that not every retail liquor establishment will benefit from a 2:00 a.m. closing hour, and many establishments may choose not to utilize the extra hour of time, but we believe that every bar/restaurant or retail drinking facility has the right to utilize the extra hour of sale should they choose. 

Twin Falls has agreed to hear us out if 750 people sign this petition, stating they believe we should be allowed to go until 2:00 a.m.
