Turn off the jumbotron TV at SDSU Snapdragon Stadium

The Issue

Do you want SDSU West and Snapdragon Stadium to be considerate of San Diegans by TURNING OFF THE JUMBOTRON TV WHEN NO LARGE EVENTS ARE SCHEDULED?

San Diegans voted and approved for SDSU to build it's "West Campus" at the old stadium site in East Mission Valley. SDSU's new "Snapdragon" open air stadium has been built and the jumbotron TV has been turned on and left on, 24 hours a day. Even though no major events are scheduled until October 2022. The magnitude of the light pollution coming just from the jumbotron TV being left on is something that you have to see in order to believe.

Are you concerned about and annoyed by the new light pollution created by SDSU's new Snapdragon open air stadium?

When you drive on the 8 and 15 freeway, are you distracted by the blinding light and light pollution haze that now goes for miles within Mission Valley?

When you drive down local streets at night, do you find the giant TV is still in sight and hindering and impairing your driving?

Is your home, apartment, work, commute now consumed by the new light pollution of Snapdragon stadiums jumbotron?

Can you no longer see the stars at night from where you live or spend time?

IF SO, PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION.
