Bayside doesn’t have any safe spots for young children and families to progress their bike skills. The places that do have something for bikes is either unsafe or vandalised. After lots of looking, we have found that Oakleigh BMX track is abandoned and the only thing it’s doing, is growing weeds. It’s a perfect spot for a family skills area. We are hoping for over 200 signatures. If we reach this goal, we are going to send an email and this petition to a local Government to consider the change. We are hoping for a smooth asphalt ground with nice wooden jumps. This place will include multiple jump lines for different skill levels and ages. This area with suit everyone who likes to go outside, ride bikes and progress their skill levels!
