Turn 2 acre home sale plot into community allotment gardens

Turn 2 acre home sale plot into community allotment gardens
The Issue
There is a 2 acre plot house located at 43785 Jenkins Lane
Ashburn, VA 20147 for sale at $1.2 million. Considering all of the new build houses going up in Ashburn right now which have no available yard, those people moving in need:
food security,
to learn food production skills,
community building through working the land together
and the animals need:
natural spaces to continue to visit,
more land without paving or construction because we are in the watershed area and need to preserve natural ground for the water to permeate through instead of causing flooding through paved surfaces
bee pollination habitat due to population decline
Several adjacent properties are either certified as wildlife sanctuary properties or in process of certifying. Help to preserve the natural heritage of the area including but not limited to the five line skink, native bees, swallowtail butterflies, hawks which nest in the area, hummingbirds, foxes, and other natural fauna found in the Beaverdam Run and Ashburn Lake ecosystem.
With this petition I will present to City of Ashburn/Loudoun County board meeting to ask City of Ashburn if they would buy the property for community use and set up community gardens.
