Hi people! The authorities today met the residents and other environmentalists. Though the collective decision was to cut the trees, the authorities have promised to help us grow 10 trees for every tree they cut. The planting of saplings will be started soon! I understand that this is not a complete victory, but this is the best that I could do as a common citizen! Hope to do more in the near future! I thank each one of you for your care towards mother nature!
