Bring Back Tumblr's Ask Formatting!
Bring Back Tumblr's Ask Formatting!
The Issue
Yesterday, 6/19/2019 tumblr staff decided to take away the option to code asks, which puts tumblr uses -- especially roleplayers -- in a bind. We really have no clue why this happened, it's a senseless change that only seeks to go against that more than half of their target audience wants or needs. There are many things that need to be changed about tumblr's lack of informing their users on changes such as these, and I can list off many but they'd be too much to list.
At this point, it's not even about something as small as the asks. It's the blatant disregard and lack of care for the people who are singlehandedly keeping your website alive. It's disrespectful to the people who use your website most. Tumblr, listen to your userbase and what they want. Listen to your main demographic. Don't be stupid.
