Max Price, a senior at Tufts University, is under investigation for being Jewish.

As one of five members of the student government’s judiciary, Max has the responsibility to make technical corrections and perform basic fact-checking on resolutions to be voted on by the student body. This is, frankly, a pretty routine and boring job most of the time.

But then last semester a radical campus hate group decided to propose a grossly misleading ballot initiative that all but blamed Israel for police brutality in the United States. They demanded that Max recuse himself from the process because of his “bias”.

There will be a hearing THIS SUNDAY to determine Max’s fate and potentially kick him out of his post for the crime of participating in student government while Jewish.

While it is probably correct to assume that a Jewish student would be biased against antisemitism and racism, Students for Justice in Palestine and the university administrators who enable them are undoubtedly violating Max’s civil rights by discriminating against him on the basis of his religion.

Tell Tufts University to cancel this outrageous, discriminatory hearing and protect Max from antisemitic harassment on campus.
