Whereas, the Class of 2020 has invested countless resources, both time and money, in their education, and

Whereas, Truman students feel a great deal of attachment to their university and the experiences that they have had there, and 

Whereas, Truman State University wishes to maintain the important relationship of alumni's fondness of their graduating university, and     

Whereas, a Logo is one of the primary ways humans associate brands to experiences, and  

Whereas, students have not had much time to grow accustomed to the logo change, and 

Whereas, a sudden logo change on the diplomas would sadden many students with an attachment to the logo they have spent 4+ years learning under.

Therefore be it resolved that: 

The old Truman State University logo remains on the diplomas of the graduating Class of 2020.
