Good afternoon,

I hope this finds everyone well, we are aware these are rough times and hope we all make it out of this healthy, even tho much less wealthy.

With regards, to the D.C. protest, we are very happy to see how many truckers stayed. We want results, not to be pushed under the rug. If you are near the D.C. area please support these truckers outside the White House.

Now reviewing everything that is taking place we have noticed that we will not see immediate change. In order to get some type of broker regulations we are looking at anywhere between a year to two years (did you see how long it took to get everyone on e-log). However, setting short and long term goals is something that will help the cause. An idea recently generated by watching many activists in different groups is:

1. Ask that FMCSA, or officials who are in charge of IFTA tax on owner-operators and small businesses, cancel these quarterly fuel taxes for at least a year as the market changes. I propose that companies who have 10 trucks or less (share your number below on comments) should receive this relief.

2. We create some sort of webpage, that truckers, small business owners, even dispatchers can make claims and accusations (with proof) of issues with brokering and shipping companies. Like this when governing officials ask for poof we have a large database that is PUBLIC and everyone can see.

3. Come together by creating a large database of truckers/ small fleets and going direct with big shippers like Walmart, Costco, Bjs, and other big-name shippers and offering the idea of hiring owner-operators directly.

Please share your ideas below, we want to hear for you. UNITED we have the power to create change even if government officials refuse to help.
