COVID-19 is a risk for many people and especially with Omicron numbers increasing. TRU offers most classes in person with a small portion of classes online, depending on your program. Most classes are in-person and everything at TRU is running as it would be prior to COVID-19. 

As a student in my final year of school, I want to remain healthy - I have never contracted COVID-19 and especially don't want to at school. Classes are packed with students and there is practically no social distancing happening, it is impossible and students do not feel safe on campus. People aren't sanitizing their hands, we aren't social distancing, and the school is not a safe place. There are thousands of students on campus daily.

Furthermore, other schools such as UofC, UofA, and UBC are online and avoiding in-person classes to protect students and staff. Students at TRU can't protect their family, friends, and even themselves. Students who have health issues and or are immunocompromised do not feel safe attending class in person.
