For 5 years now, 12+ dogs have been forced to live in their own filth, urine and feces, in a flea infested 'box' at the home of Mike Thomas. Authorities say that these "living" conditions are lawful even though there is physical evidence to suggest otherwise. 

Animal lovers all over the world have been mocked due to the photographic evidence being "old". The photos weren't old when you were first shown them! Yet you refused to do anything about it. There IS current evidence in video form as well as eyewitness statements from neighbors that these disgusting conditions have NOT improved in any way, and one dog (that we know of) HAS died due to these conditions. 

You have refused to take action and remove these poor animals while this "man" has threatened other locals and broken real-estate laws as well as living in a home with no water (violation of health code). It has grown obvious that the wishes of the citizens that voted you in are not a high priority, not to mention the lives of innocent animals under your protection.

We ask that Mr. Thomas be made to replace the dogs current "shelter" with a more humane and appropriate one, as well as provide certified veterinary care for them in a timely manner. If he cannot afford to do so, volunteers are willing to donate monetarily and help build the new shelter if Mr. Thomas will allow it.

If this is not done, then we DEMAND these dogs be removed from the property and be placed at a safe rescue for rehabilitation and veterinary care immediately, and that Mr. Thomas be banned from having any other pets!
