Colin Kaepernick should be released from the San Francisco 49ers

The Issue

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick gave this explanation for not standing during the national anthem before the 49er vs Packers football game:

"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color," Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game against Green Bay. "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder."

He is not trying to help any situation but cause racial divide while disrespecting the American flag and all of those who have served and died to defend the flag.

While it is a right for freedom of expression, it is not him expressing his displeasure for racial inequality, it is blatant disrespect for a country that has given him the opportunity to make millions of dollars while playing a game he loves.

If his purpose was to make an expression against this supposed oppression, why has Mr. Kaepernick not expressed this in the media through attending one of the many rallies or addressed this in one of the many previous interviews he had with the media?

Im asking the San Francisco 49ers GM Trent Baalke do what is right for the team, league, and country and make a statement and release Mr. Kaepernick.
