We need to protect our community from speeding cars and trucks!

The stretch of Travilah Road between Darnestown Rd and Piney Meetinghouse Rd in Rockville cuts through an area that has seen many new residents, including many families with young children, move in over the past 2-3 years due to new development. Residents that walk, bike, and run in this area need to be protected against the many cars and trucks that are traveling considerably above the 30-mph speed limit in this stretch of road. We need to do what we can to ensure the safety of this community to prevent a tragedy in the future. 

We and those who sign this petition call for a review into installing at least one new speed camera along this corridor!
