To Whom It May Concern,

We, the undersigned, write to petition for a travel ban on Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, for his role in inciting violence against the Igbo community during the recently concluded elections.

MC Oluomo, a notorious figure in Lagos State politics, made public statements threatening violence against any Igbo person who voted for a political party other than the APC. He led his thugs to disrupt elections in various polling units, causing chaos and injury to several Igbo people.

Furthermore, MC Oluomo's rhetoric led to the burning down of an Igbo market where a market security man was shot dead by his thugs. He also went on to ask Igbo people to leave Lagos State and return to their own states, promising to deal with them.

The presidential and governorship elections were marred by violence and disasters caused by MC Oluomo and his thugs, resulting in several deaths and injuries.

Peaceful coexistence is paramount in a country like Nigeria with different ethnic groups, People like Mc Oluomo is threatening the peace that exist between the Yoruba's and the Igbo's and his actions if not addressed urgently may cause another civil war.

Therefore, we urge the European Union, United Kingdom and America to impose a travel ban on MC Oluomo, preventing him from visiting their countries. We also request that his properties acquired in these countries be investigated, as there is reason to believe that they may have been obtained through criminal activities.

We believe that this action will send a strong message to other politicians and public figures who use violence and hate speech to incite discord and unrest, and help to promote peaceful and fair elections in Nigeria.
