The A811 is a major road that connects Stirling to Balloch. It is currently maintained by Stirling Council which does not have the resources to keep the road in the best condition. 

It is a road used by thousands of commuters, residents, businesses and tourists per year. 

Trunk Roads are maintained to a higher standard by Transport Scotland directly. Where they are adopted the resources available for road maintenance are significantly higher. 

The solution we are looking for is to have the A811 adopted as a Trunk Road.
