Unnecessary blocking of junction – Triq il-Wied Ħal-Balzan

Transport Malta has taken the wrong decision to block access to Triq il-Wied Ħal-Balzan in the limits of Lija, from Triq Dun Karm and across Triq in-Naxxar.

Transport Malta has created a more dangerous situation down Triq in-Naxxar corner with Triq il-Mitħna.

It is ironic that measures were taken for vehicle proceeding from Mosta to flow more easily into Triq Dun Karm, while vehicles proceeding to Balzan, Lija and Attard have been blocked access to Triq il-Wied Ħal-Balzan.

A few vehicles used to filter to Triq il-Wied Ħal-Balzan through the flow of traffic proceeding along Triq in-Naxxar while it was waiting to take the roundabout.
