TfL is permamently closing the Wells Terrace entrance to Finsbury Park underground station from July 18th.  This is to enable property developers to build new expensive flats next to the station.  The volume of people going through the station already causes queuing at rush hour and Wells Terrace is the widest point of entry.  Closing it is ill considered and will cause long queues and dangerous crowding around remaining entry points.  TfL must rescind this decision and work with the developers to find a safer way that doesn't endanger and inconvenience commuters for private gain.  Waiting 3 years for a new entrance to the station is not good enough, the needs of commuters must be taken into account.
