Parts of Wimbledon town centre will face demolition under multi-million pound plans to bring Crossrail 2 through the borough.

1) Up to ten years of severe disruption to town centre businesses and thousands of residents.

2) Demolition of iconic landmarks including Centre Court Shopping Centre, Wimbledon Bridge House, the Prince of Wales pub, Queens Court Care Home and the Everyday Church in Queens Road.

3) Traffic chaos. 

4) Tunnelling works by Gap Road and Weir Road.

5) Building work to create space for trains to reverse in Dundonald Road.
