TfL has warned that Gallows Corner flyover could close if more funding is not forthcoming to tackle their deficit. 

The flyover, which is now over 50 years old, is in desperate need of replacement. TfL had claimed that £50 million had been set aside for the project and a business case would be submitted in Spring 2022

However, TfL have failed to address the major safety issues at this dangerous junction. Gallows Corner is an accident hotspot, which has resulted in a number of deaths. 

Please sign this petition to show the strength of public opinion and urge TfL, Sadiq Khan and LB Havering to work together and agree a funding settlement and redesign of current plans.

Residents of Havering have been badly let down. We have been promised improvements for years, including by Boris Johnson (as London Mayor) in 2014 and Sadiq Khan in 2016. 

We urgently need a commitment to make this critical junction safe and user friendly.
