If you live near Caledonian Road Station, your MP is probably Emily Thornberry. You can email her at emilythornberrymp@parliament.uk and ask her to support our campaign. She can lobby TfL and Mayor Boris on our behalf. Tell her that the station closure is not necessary because there are two vacant lift shafts that could be used for new lifts while it remains open and that this is what happened last time in 1987. You could also mention the fact that the charity Scope that helps disabled people, has its head office just around the corner in Market Road. Caledonian Road is the only step free station on the Picadilly Line between Kings Cross and Oakwood, so its closure will have a massive impact on vulnerable people. Thanks.
