this petition is not a form of pressure as most are. It’s rather a list of the people who believe in Avenue scholars enough to urge them for transparency. Avenue Scholars has taught many of us that we should fight for what we love. We are asking Avenue Scholars to hold an open board meeting to give scholars a clear honest reason for the closing of many of its programs and give the students affected a chance to express how this decision hurts them. If you are Avenue scholars seeing this, we still love you and that’s why we are doing this.
