Translink has informed us that a survey went out a few years ago regarding proposed route changes to the 262 Bus. People in Lions Bay opposed those changes but we in Eagle Harbour, Gleneagles and Whytlecliff (3500 residents) never caught wind of it. I'd love the folks in Lions Bay to know we have a great new restaurant on the low road open to the public at Gleneagles Golf Course. Imagine two daily trips, one morning and one afternoon, that brings the 262 Bus along Marine Drive instead of the highway. This would take Lions Bay folks down to the Orchard, high school kids up to Rockridge and ultimately end up at Caulfield Village where Lions Bay folks want to go. The same would apply in the afternoon bringing the kids home. Who could oppose that? Comment with your thoughts and share with anyone you know in Lions Bay!
