A lot of us are sick of travelling at least an hour just to reach a HMV and, with the return of physical media (mainly CDs and vinyl records), Barrow would surely thrive on a shop where the main attraction is CDs and vinyl records.

Not only would this decision benefit Barrow, but surrounding areas like Dalton, Ulverston and Millom would also benefit from a HMV as it means residents there would also have to travel a heavily reduced distance to go to a HMV.

Especially now that Lancaster HMV has been removed, it would be convenient for the people in the Barrow and Lake District area and it would provide another branch for the HMV chain.

It should at least be considered. Even if it won't go forwards as BAE now owns the site, I will try.
