Horwich & Blackrod First Independents are campaigning against Bolton Council disposing this field to a developer. Horwich Town Council had an outline plan ready to present for this land but the Executive Cabinet Member for Regeneration at Bolton Council rejected the concept of a community asset transfer without even reviewing the councils proposals.

We want to protect and enhance this land for community benefit and wellbeing for local residents and other community users.

We need 4000 signatures to force a debate in council, HBFI members and community supporters are going door to door and will be holding pop up shops but we appreciate you helping us save this green space for the community of Horwich.

Over the years Horwich has lost significant amounts of green areas, sporting heritage and childrens play parks. Enough is Enough!
