3G Charges taken for 2G or < 2G Internet Speed Almost by every Operator.
The Issue
Myself Swarup Debnath using internet since long back. I tried almost every operator available in my place e.g. BSNL (EVDO,3G), Reliance 3G, Idea3G, Vodafone3G, now Airtel 3G.
But every times I had to keep change my operator due the said issue. Initially the 1st month or 1st 15-20 days it worked better. Later on gradually they show their originality. I used both post-paid & pre-paid option. For post paid option, it sucked my blood by sending the huge bill. How they calculated, it remained a big question for me every time.
Now I am using Airtel 3G pre-paid. I dont know, how the issue will resolve. The same thing happened here too. After recharge first few days it shows the speed. later on it works like GPRS speed or less then that.
The internet speed should have some continuity, I mean what they claim, that we should get without any drop at any place (in any area), since they dont make our bill less. We should have the flexibility, not to recharge for next, if they fail to offer us the level claimed internet speed. If there is any specific area(mostly in our area) where they (operator) dont have the capacity to offer the claimed speed, they shouldn't advertise or sell their service there. They should have some liability to the customer who paid them for nothing.
