A great turnout yesterday with a cross section of people both young and old showing the value of the centre to the commumity.

We tried to keep track of the number of people going through the door but at one point it became so busy that is was impossible to check but I would think there were approx 150 people who have now given their views on why the centre must remain open and what they would like to be added.

The council have shown that they fully intend to consult with the community on such important issues and their representation on hand to explain in detail was very througher.

For anybody who couldn't attend there will be feedback forms available at the reception at George Carnall to be placed in the box no later than 5pm Wednesday 5th June.

I hope we can get as many people to attend the next consultation to finally convince Trafford Council
that we need this centre for the benefit of everybody's health and fitness both mind and body.
