We have been made aware that Trafford Council are shortly going to announce their plans for the future of the centre. Details are limited at present but we feel it necessary to inform everybody who supports this campaign as much as possible. From what we do know so far it seems that they want to use the centre as some kind of medical centre which would involve various medical practices moving in under one roof as possibly a kind of health and well-being hub. Once we have more detail from the council we will hopefully set up a meeting with them in the hope that we can at least combine some of the fitness facilities that are presently available. This does not mean that this campaign will give up on trying to save the centre in its present form
