Traffic Safety on Noble Drive

Traffic Safety on Noble Drive
The Issue
We, the undersigned residents of Eagle Crossing are deeply concerned about the dangerous speeding occurring on Noble Drive.
• Vehicles are regularly traveling 40–50 mph through our neighborhood.
• There is only one speed limit sign posted, located at the back of the neighborhood, which is ineffective at slowing traffic.
• Speeding is particularly hazardous during school bus pick-up and drop-off times (around 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.), when children are present.
• Families do not feel safe allowing children to walk, bike, or play near the street.
This is not only a nuisance—it is a serious safety hazard. We are asking for immediate action to protect the families and children in our neighborhood.
We respectfully request the following steps be taken:
1. Increased speed limit signage throughout the neighborhood.
2. Traffic calming measures such as speed bumps, speed humps, or other deterrents.
3. Increased police presence and enforcement during peak traffic times.
We believe these actions are necessary to prevent a tragic accident and to restore the sense of safety in our community.
