The intersection in Hartenbos where the R102 becomes the R328 has become a death trap in recent years.  Numerous people have been involved in accidents at this intersection, often occurring at speeds of 80km/h and more.  Some are more serious than others and others have led to disability and death.  Hartenbos and Mossel Bay residents have for many years been asking for traffic lights and the government has just ignored the requests.  It ends here!!!  We insist on having traffic lights installed together with ribbed sections on the road to indicate braking zones.  Cyclists, pedestrians, and motorists all use this road daily and on multiple occasions per day.  

Failure to create an intersection will lead to more accidents, more deaths, and more medical bills. 

We need to make a stand for the safety of the kids, pedestrians, cyclists and motorist who frequent this intersection.  

How many more lives are going to be lost, maimed or destroyed before something gets done.  Please, we need your support in getting traffic calming measures installed.
