Developers are trying to get approval for 265 homes at Green Pond. Which is home to more than 160 different species of birds which have been spotted on the property, including six endangered birds. If they build these home it will take away a huge part of the bird community, which there isn't another place in the Lehigh Valley for them to go! 

Lehigh Valley Audubon Society Peter Saenger said the Green Pond wetlands are especially crucial to migratory birds, which rely on the land as a place for rest and food on trips to the south and back. He said any development on the property will likely turn away the birds.

We really don't need more homes in the area, there are plenty that could be fixed up! 

Please sign this petition in hopes that we can save the local birds in the Bethlehem, Pa area. We need to conserve what we have!!!!
