ATTENTION!!!
Last week Bill 2481 passed preliminary hearings and now will go to the "Floor" for a Vote. This Bill will take the "governing jurisdiction" from the State of AZ & give it to the City's of AZ. There are 3 Representatives that are pushing this bill that have "direct ties" with large Resorts in their City's. HAVASU IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS OUR MAYOR, CAL SHEEHY, IS THE GENERAL MANAGER & VP OF LONDON BRIDGE RESORT!!! It has been known that he is in dislike w/ the Vacation Rentals as it takes business away from HIS London Bridge Resort. THIS IS A DIRECT CONFLICT OF INTEREST WITH VOICING HIS OPINION/VOTE IN THE FUTURE OF SHORT TERM VACATION RENTALS!!! There is plenty of business for both Vacation Rentals & Hotels/Resorts!

If the governing jurisdiction goes back to the City then several things could happen! The City could vote that there will be NO Short Term Rentals in Lake Havasu. They could vote that there will be NO short term rentals under 30 days renting. They could limit the # of Licenses allowed in the City for Short Term Rentals, or many other things.

The economic impact that the Short Term Vacation Rentals have on our Town is unbelievable!! We employ every trade imaginable! Handyman, painter, plumber, drywaller, stucco guy, cleaner, carpet cleaner, carpet installer, tile installer, appliance repair, pool tech, pool installer, spa tech, RO system maintenance, garage door guy, landscaper, tree trimmer, trash can service, pool table repair guy, etc. We also bring major $$ to the grocery stores, gas stations with fueling up cars, boats & off road vehicles, & major $$ to restaurants, bars & grocery stores. The list goes on & on!!
WE NEED EVERYONE TO JOIN US IN FIGHTING TO PROTECT THE SHORT TERM VACATION RENTALS!!! They directly impact Lake Havasu's Economic Future!!

Please help us circulate petitions, please join us in City Council Meetings (in person or by writing), please join us in writing to our Representatives!!
We will provide all the information & links to do the above things! We are asking for your support and asking you to start spreading the word to everyone you know!
We want to work in harmony with the City and we absolutely support having Vacation Rental Homes that are not disruptive to the neighborhood. We know there are a "few bad apples" out there but there are regulations that can be enforced for those homes! In NO way should a Vacation Rental be disrespectful to the neighbors or the homes itself. We are all on-board with existing in harmony with the neighborhoods we are in!

We love that we can employ soo many different Trades People & also provide business to the Restaurants, Bars, Grocery Stores, Gas Stations, etc!
