Hi everyone,

Thanks for your ongoing support on this matter!

Trader Joe's has issued a statement last Friday, July 24 reporting that they are no longer pulling the product names! They also wanted to be clear that any consideration for changing the names was not because of the petition by Ms. Bedell:

“We want to be clear: we disagree that any of these labels are racist. We do not make decisions based on petitions.”

Although we can't know whether this petition and others like this had an impact on this decision, I strongly believe that each signature and every share-outs have led to our voices being heard:

"Recently we have heard from many customers reaffirming that these name variations are largely viewed in exactly the way they were intended—as an attempt to have fun with our product marketing. We continue our ongoing evaluation, and those products that resonate with our customers and sell well will remain on our shelves."

I can't thank you enough for supporting this cause.
