As the originator of this petition, I have access to Change.org's data tracking system. About two months ago, I noticed a trend. And that trend is staying in place. Here's the trend: We are averaging about 1 signer (of the petition) for every two viewers. Yes, you read that right. For every two "new" views of the petition, about 1 of those two will sign the petition. That ratio is 2:1, that is, two views to one signature. I've included a compressed snapshot of the view I have from Change.org. There are three "peaks" in the chart (dated 4/5, 4/10, and 4/14). The first peak is 42:26 (which is better than 2:1). The second peak is 17:6 (which is worse than 2:1). And the third peak is 27:13 (which is about 2:1). All these average out to about 2:1. This means that when you share to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Email, Snailmail, or word of mouth, and you get some folks to just view the petition, half of those viewers will sign. So let's do this. Let's share, share, share. You may think you've already shared enough, that all of your contacts have already seen and decided, so you don't think it'll do any good. Remember, most folks will pass something by on one day, then look at on another day. But if it never comes back again, they won't go look for it. I believe that, if we get to 15,000 or 20,000 signatures, Trader Joe's will at least give us a hearing, and our city and county governments will do all they can to help the thousands of us convince them that it's a good business move for Trader Joe's to build here. We're at 10% of that. 2 months ago, we were at 1 percent of that. Because you share, because you comment, and because you do both again, we've grown 10X in 2 months. So let's grow another 10X, shall we?
