Today we hit a preliminary goal of 1k signatures. It is time for us to now work to aim for our big goal. I'd like to invite some of you to call me personally if you want to help us formulate our plan to get to 20,000 signatures in a reasonable amount of time. I've now informed Blue Zones, Wellness Center, and the KFalls City Manager of what we're hoping to do. The City Manager is in on the past efforts to get a store here, and he suggests that this may be the way to do it. Stores move to towns because they believe that they can make a profit. What if we can show them that? In addition, what if we can sell them on the idea that they could come here and help us make Klamath Falls a bit healthier, a bit better? They won't do that as charity. But they may do that if they see we can support their store profitably. So, call me, Doug Hallock, at 541.892.0819 if you want to help plan our strategy to get us all the way to 20k, Again, if we want Trader Joe's to come to Klamath, we've got to rise above all the other suitors.
