We, the citizens of Vallejo, CA being a growing, thriving community of families and professionals want to have the opportunity to shop at Trader Joe's just as our neighbors in Fairfield, CA do. We are the most diverse city in the nation and two of our largest employers are Kaiser Permanente and Sutter Health. We have a population of over 120,000 people which is 9,000 more than Fairfield, CA. Many citizens of San Francisco and neighboring cities are now moving into our city and spending their food dollars in Napa or Fairfield. All the citizens of our neighboring city Benicia would also patronize Trader Joe's in Vallejo because as of now they have to pay toll to shop at the closest location in Concord. Stop dismissing us Trader Joe's, take a look at just whom you are leaving out, Vallejo will not give up this fight!
