Ban the use of glyphosate in your products.

The Issue

  • Several recent studies showed glyphosates potential adverse health effects to humans, as it may be an endocrine disruptor.
  • Roundup probably causes cancer, according to a new report from the World Health Organization. The report also says glyphosate has been found in the blood and urine of agricultural workers, showing the chemical has been absorbed by the body.
  • Researchers have found that one of Roundup’s inert ingredients can kill human cells, particularly embryonic, placental and umbilical cord cells.
  • Glyphosate is a wide spectrum toxicant with over 27 mechanisms identified through which it harms mammalian physiology, and published studies have shown that it is related to 50 different diseases.
  • Studies show glyphosate is responsible for inflammatory diseases, autism, cancer.
  • A French Toxicological study concluded that it was an endocrine disruptor at ½ part per million. It also reported that it causes cell death due to killing of enzymes. One part per million reduced testosterone by 35 percent.
  • Another study Argentina – published study – Chemical Research in Toxicology - concluded that Glyphosate increased breast cancer cell growth via estrogen receptors.

  • Glyphosate accumulates in liver, lungs, heart, kidneys, intestine, spleen, muscles and bones. Opposite of Monsanto claims that it will wash out of the body in the urine if accidentally ingested.

  • Glyphosate is a registered antibiotic, known to destroy beneficial gut bacteria in humans that is needed to maintain the functioning of the immune system.

  • It binds to minerals and strips the mineral content of the food and robs the body of these essential minerals.
