We think this is unfair, as oldfriends provided a service that was unique and different to what other social networks such as facebook offer.

There are countless school photos hosted on Oldfriends and the site is a valuable wealth of historical information on various businesses and schools.

Oldfriends is not only a historical record, but is a platform that has been able to reunite people that have not seen each other in many years.

If Trademe does not want to continue running Oldfriends, we support transferring its ownership to a third party.
