For Spring 2021 Tractor Supply stores introduced new SUPER Brooding Machines to house hundreds of day old baby chicks and ducklings. From the very beginning there have been major problems. Heaters were improperly placed inside the brooders and chicks were freezing to death, literally. Chicks have broken their legs and been stuck in the grates, they have been trampled, starved to death. They also are getting sick at a rapid pace and not being cared for properly and being thrown in the trash in record large numbers all across the state. I believe this is the 2nd petition set-up for the abuse that is happening. We Demand Tractor Supply and other retailers Please STOP using these large inhumane Super Brooders, since the Employees are not equipped or trained to maintain good care and proper health for these very young vulnerable chicks and ducklings using this brooding equipment in their stores.
