It is time to vote for the candidates that listened to the will of the people and stood up for our community. Director McMullan, Laura Fillault and Mathew Burton all signed our petition. Laura stood beside me debating our position throughout the county and John McMullan stood with Director Hausman and I on the Township Board offering a resolution February 21st formally requesting the county remove the extension from the project list. That action was tabled with a 4-3 vote. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. The same can be said for electing the same politicians over and over expecting them to behave differently in their next term in office. The fact that over 80% of our Township residents voted against the May 9th bond illustrates our Board should have been unified against the proposed Woodlands Parkway Extension. Please help us send a message to local politicians that we will be heard and we the residents of The Woodlands expect our elected officials to represent us and not their special interest friends or developers. It is time for The Woodlands to elect the next generation of leaders!
