Growth in the township has exceeded the budget which has allowed Council to put an extra $36,000 a year into a reserve for the splash pad. This means the project has been approved and is on the Township's list of projects. If there is no fundraising put towards this reserve, it will take 10 years to build up the funds to pay for it. I'm hoping we can work to get fundraising going to increase this reserve and get our splash pad sooner.
