We just received news that the sale between Al Noor & the property owner has gone through. We understand that proper due diligence to assess the property, traffic considerations, environmental protection permits, etc has not occurred yet and will be needed.
This news is very unfortunate and likely upsetting to hear by most homeowners surrounding the property. However, more is needed to occur before any building can begin. We believe the proposed build faces significant hurdles to be approved, top concerns include sewers (none currently exist), traffic (an analysis is needed), and wetland encroachment.
This is all we know at this time. We encourage anyone that opposes this significant campus build to contact the town immediately. It will take a more concerted effort to prevent this build from going forward.
