Community Land Status Decision - tonight 20th January

The council are proceeding with a decision tonight (20th January) at their meeting to revoke the community land status of the Walkerville YMCA site which preserves the site for Community, Education or Recreation purposes. This is contrary to the strong public opinion supporting the retention of community recreation services from the site, with nearly 4,000 signatures online, another 500 in hard copy petition and over 80 written submissions to the council as part of the community consultation.
