Our community has a terrifyingly common narrative - dangerous encounters on County Line Road. All of us are either witnesses or victims of the accidents, particularly where County Line Road intersects with route 20 and also Franklin Street, confirming this is not an isolated incident but rather a pressing public safety issue. Our safety and the safety of our loved ones are being greatly compromised. As one pivotally affected by this issue, I am calling out for everyone's support to raise this alarm even louder. 

We urgently need to establish a posted, safe, and reduced speed limit on County Line Road, between route 20 and Franklin Street. This speed restriction would help control vehicular activities and thereby minimize the occurrence of accidents. The rte 20 intersection with County Line Road is unsafe and needs to be addressed by the NYSDOT. Crucially, the reconfiguration of the Franklin Road 5-way intersection with County Line Road is also desperately needed. The current configuration is notorious for its complexity and has proven to be hazardous countless times. 

Our collective action can save lives and improve the quality of life of all who live in and traverse through our community.
