This past Wednesday I presented the petition to the Schererville Town Council. I can honestly say they seemed interested in what I had to say. Several other community members joined me to speak on the Speedway. The Council said, in short, that they are glad to see interest in what their plans are and also assured us nothing is yet set in stone. The process of deciding on any action taken with the property will be transparent and open to public input.
