As most of you who play ToS2 know, the game is in a power creep state where one unbalanced role is made, another unbalanced role is made to counter the last one and next thing you know the game isn't even about social deduction anymore, just who goes "oooo shiny button me click" faster, confirms themselves, hangs whoever is not confirmed and gg ez should have played better against something that has no counterplay. Famous examples of this are the Trickster (go down the list, avoid TK claims so you don't go on a vigilante, do your job and die), Prosecutor (can kill two evils in a single day without using up ANY of the three daily trials), and Marshal (hang 3 people in a single day, abillity doesn't end if Marshal dies, can combo with Prosecutor and more). The developers don't even THINK before slapping something into the game, they should band-aid fix things, don't listen to months of complaining and fix something by making it more overpowered, meanwhile roles such as Deputy have been made obsolete, and don't even get me started on how ANYONE who can't side with town has to deal with all of this. The unbalancing issue has gone to the point where a modded version of the game is better in terms of balancing than the vanilla version is. And instead of fixing all of this offseason, the devs instead decide to start the second season of ranked and tarnation the playerbase.

If nothing changes, the game will continue getting more overpowered roles to counter the last, the social deduction aspect will die out to be replaced with who can click a button faster, and there is absolutely NO counterplay to half of this, because evils can't fakeclaim since half of the town roles are self-confirmable and they have to instead claim something weak like Cleric or Amnesiac, or even another more harmless evil role such as Executioner or Jester. Seriously BMG?? Do you really need to make the game such a chaotic mess and leave it like that for months?

Change needs to happen NOW, or else the player base will keep dropping until it goes so low down that if it ever goes back up the spike will be covered in oil, the game itself will be less fun and more luck reliant than skill reliant, and at that point nothing will be able to fix it. The meta of the game is already reflecting just how poorly made this mess if, and it's really sad to see something with such a great potential lose it all because of lazy devs.

Pause Ranked Season 2, fix the ******* game and THEN continue the season, don't just wait to band-aid fix everything again and actually listen to the community.
