Yesterday on July 27 at approximately around  5:30 PM a Three car crash occurred at the intersection of Sharpners pond and 114 Turnpike killing 1 person and injuring 3 people. I’m starting this petition because adding a traffic light could potentially prevent another crash like this from happening. It’s been reported that this intersection has been an issue the past couple of years. The town of North Andover needs to hear their people and add traffic lights that directs cars safely when passing through this intersection. This intersection is waiting for another incident like this to occur. A grandchild , sister, husband and son/daughter now have to live without their loved one for the rest of their lives; I cannot imagine the pain this family is enduring at the moment. Stops sign can easily be ran through and clearly shows that it’s not serving any justice at the moment. 2 years ago, I myself got into a car accident at another dangerous intersection in this town. We as a community need to keep ourselves and others safe so I, Isaac Ramos a current North Andover resident is asking the town to implement this traffic light.
