Dear Neighbors,

This evening Mayor Lynette Lee Eng posted a new draft Urgency Ordinance (pgs. 43-75) modeled after Mill Valley's. The City Council now has 2 draft Urgency Ordinances before them: 

1. the weak and ineffective draft ordinance (pgs. 1-42) originally proposed by the City Manager and City Attorney that does not address or meet the requirements the City Council instructed them to draft at the July 9th City Council Study Session and 
2. a strong draft ordinance modeled after Mill Valley that keeps cell nodes/towers away from homes and schools in Los Altos 

If you aren't able to attend tomorrow's City Council Special Meeting at 6pm, PLEASE EMAIL NOW the City Council (council@losaltosca.gov) and let them know that you fully support the ordinance modeled after Mill Valley. In order for this Urgency Ordinance to pass, we need the approval from 4 of 5 City Council members.

Dear City Council,

I just saw the revised new draft Urgency Ordinance (pgs. 43-75) on the City of Los Altos website modeled after Mill Valley's. I fully support the stronger ordinance aimed at protecting residents and our city. The original weak and ineffective first draft Urgency Ordinance would NOT protect residents, cell nodes/towers would be installed immediately next to our homes and schools and all over town. Please be strong in defending Los Altos and approve the Urgency Ordinance modeled after Mill Valley's!
