Dear Neighbors,

Please continue to keep pressure on the Los Altos City Council and City Manager this week before the City Council meeting next Tuesday, July 30th. Hold them accountable to adopt a stringent urgency ordinance to keep cell nodes/towers away from homes and schools as they agreed to during the July 9th Study Session (public input starts just before the hour mark, Council member discussion immediately after).

There are 3 things you can do to protect our homes, schools and neighborhoods between now and July 30th:
1. EMAIL City Council and City Manager council@losaltosca.gov, cjordan@losaltosca.gov (template provided below if you wish to use)
2. SHARE our petition with neighbors and friends (let's get to 1000 by July 30th!)
3. EMAIL AT&T (escsd@sure-site.com) and Verizon against all cell projects next to our homes and schools

Dear City Council & City Manager,

As a resident of Los Altos, I do not believe that cell towers belong near homes and schools. Cell towers bring noise, unknown health effects, negatively impact property values and aesthetics. I urge the City Council to adopt a stringent urgency ordinance like Mill Valley’s. Friends of mine all across the SF Bay Area have seen the recent media coverage from the Town Crier, to the Daily Post to ABC 7 News. Everyone is watching to see if our City Council will protect its citizens or yield to the big wireless carriers. Please be courageous and accept nothing but the most aggressive ordinance that protects and preserves our town.
