Cameron Pond Park has been a part of the Town of Cary's Plan for several years. It will be the only park between I-540 and NC-55 in Northwest Cary, serve the future YMCA location on Carpenter Fire Station Road, and finally fulfill a long standing vision for our area.

This park has been an official Town Council priority since a motion was made at a council meeting in October 2009. All appropriate land was acquired for the project in late 2010 and early 2011. Despite these events, the park has continued to be delayed. In the latest proposed FY2017 budget, the park has been changed from a programmed project to an unprogrammed project, meaning there used to be future money planned for the park, but if this year's budget is not amended, our park will most likely be delayed several more years.

Please sign this petition to send a message to our Town Council that we need to delay this project no further. We need to start by funding the master plan and design phases for this and the next fiscal year. Thank you for your support!
