Stop the Harrassment of Happy Cat Sactuary a non-profit 501c3 in Medford, NY
Happy cat Sanctuary is in desperate need of stopping several members of Town of Brookhaven Code Enforcement Department and one particular board member from harassing Happy Cat Sanctuary. Our goal is for there to be an independent investigation against these employees who have conspired against the cats and their caretaker.
All we want to do is help and save cats. We keep to ourselves and are an asset to the community with helping these innocent animals in need.
There's been recent development that has put the sanctuary in a very difficult position and this conspiracy against them goes Way Beyond a few neighbors.
About Happy Cat
Happy Cat is a 501(c)3 non-profit in Long Island, New York. Our mission is to save the lives of cats and ensure they are provided with the quality of life every creature deserves, including access to medical care, proper nutrition, adequate shelter, and the freedom and safety to live without fear of sickness, neglect, or abuse.
Happy Cat rescues cats that have no place else to go, including cats that have been victims of hoarding situations, shot at, targeted by gangs for use as bait in dog fighting rings, blind cats, cats with FIV, and cats of abusive and neglectful owners. Over 200 cats reside at the sanctuary, which is composed of indoor and outdoor shelters and areas to roam, scratch, lounge, and climb. All cats are neutered, have access to vet care, and are regularly brushed and given lots of love and attention. Cats and kittens are available for adoption.
About Chris Arsenault
Chris has dedicated his life to the rescue and care of hundreds of cats. Chris started rescuing in 2006 after his 24-year-old son Eric lost his life in a tragic accident when the throttle on his motorcycle stuck. After this devastating loss, Chris accidentally came across a cat colony of 30 sick kittens. He removed the kittens from the colony and nursed them back to health. It was at that point that Chris knew saving cats was his calling, and he opened Happy Cat Sanctuary.
